Anyone got one?
Any comments, positive or otherwise?

the wife got one today, very nice, but deffo a model or 2 down from the N95, tho that said, if you want it as a media/music player then the 8gig of memory (not expandable) built is good, the speakers are the same as the excellent ones built into the N95 & the menu/option screen is also identical to the N95, the battery life is allegedly much improved.

the downsides.

she`s only used it for 3 hours, (constant fiddling tho lol) & it`s crashed 4 times, & i mean totally bombed out & re started, allways when trying to connect to the home wifi dunno why.

slightly smaller screen than the N95 which is weird, cos the phone seems a little larger overall. (can`t tell for sure cos the carphone whorehouse broke my N95 :( )
the slide feels "clunky" & only opens down, whilst the N95 slides "down" like a normal slider, but also slides up to reveal media shortcuts etc, this also automatically switches the view to landscape, which is cool because the screens very very good.

i`m comparing the N81 to the N95 because they are available on pretty much the same tarrifs (there are even quite a few N95 tarrifs that throw in an 8gig micro sd card) & imo the N95 is a much better phone, from the little i`ve seen of the N81, it`s not really impressed me (but tbh, allready owning the N95 i`m kinda hard to please)

BUT please don`t think i`m slagging the N81 of in any way, my only negativity is down to the tarrifs being the same for the two phones, the N81 seems to be an excellent phone/media player, & if the deals right, then i`d recommend it, but personaly, i would pick the N95 if the tarrifs the same.

EDIT= i should also mention both phones have standard 3.5mm headphone jacks, wich is very handy as the supplied headphones are a bit crappy.

also, have a look on you tube, there are loads of video reviews for both phones.

EDIT x2 = bugger, forgot to mention, the N81 only has a 2 megapixel cam, against the 5 mega pixel N95.
