I just accidently hit Shift delete on one a directory that has all my stored projects, can get them back???? >:(

Yes you should be able to, though exactly what you need to do it depends on your operating system, this File Restoration Program is for Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 9.x, Windows Me and Windows XP. That link sends you to the PCWorld website where I found it, though just in case you have trouble with their website here`s a direct link to the file.
Download it to a floppy disk then unzip it and use it there rather than risk saving it to your harddisk and overwriting something important. There will be enough room for that.
