Quick 3g mobile question :)

got a w850i 3g walkman phone (spankingly good btw) but can`t get the video calls to work, never had 3g before & can`t find any settings on the o2 website, is there a quick fix ? as i suspect, do i need to ring o2 & get video calls enabled on my tariff (my other phone was 2g, & i`m using that sim)

Not 100% sure about this Ogster, but I believe that for full functionality a 3g phone uses a USIM type SIM card, which I (only) suspect that your old SIM isn`t (3g phones should be backwardly compatable with the ordinary SIM cards - got an old 3g phone unlocked and used an orange SIM OK).
So maybe worth contacting O2, if you want/need full 3g functions.

By the way, I think it`s still the case that you can`t do cross network video calls (eg. only o2 to o2, not o2 to vodafone, orange etc)

You can do cross network video calls. With O2 your video calls will come out of your inclusive minutes bundle.
You do need a usim and O2 will provide this for you.
