Page 1 of Help watching movies on my cellphone!

bought a new phone and a 2gig card. Now, just need to load it up!

I want to load episodes of friends which I have or some movies onto the card. The phone can handle realplayer and mpeg-4 video. What do I need to do to rip the movie DVD, and convert to mpeg-4. Please also recommend softwares while you are at it!!!

If its a nokia, nokia PC suites multimedia player converts stuff into the correct format. At least it did with the one that came with my old nokia (6230i).

i use a proggy called im too mpeg which is great.
also ulead video studio 10 - has option to export to mp4 format. - plus its drag and drop.

i use a programme called Pspvideo9, it doeas for psp and nokia phones that support mp4, easy and free

I suggest you to use yasa 3gp video converter. It does a good work on converting any videos to 3gp that can be play on your mobile phone.
