Page 1 of Help need quick way of transferring pics from Mobile to Notebook

What`s the quickest and easiest way of doing this.

My Notebook and phone both have blue tooth, but seems to take for ever transferring one pic at a time.

I`m trying to release some memory on the phone. Any advice welcomed.

Quickest way is to get a Card Reader if your phone has a memory card.

or

Can you not select more pics at transfer them all at once? or put them all in a folder and transfer the folder?

Not that I`m aware of :/ That`s why the question. its a Nokia 6600.

you can get a data cable off ebay for a fiver which makes memory management much easier. You can move directories, back up your SIM and archive text messages with the cd you got with your phone and the cable.

Got one when I got my 6230 and its a godsend. Oh, it can also be used for installing games. Sensible Soccer, Worms and Summer Games FTW!

Yeah, thats about standard, like i say, all in it costs about a fiver, its just that from Hong Kong or wherever its from, they charge a lot for the postage and a pittance for the product. Still, it beats 30 odd quid for an official Nokia one :o

I got mine from this guy.

Have rou tried infrared? I use it with my Nokia 6021. It`s not as fast as a cable, but much faster than bluetooth. I think it goes at close to 10Mbits/sec

IR is SLOWER than BT.
and nowhere near to 10MB/sec

Just done the google search - in ascending order:
irda 1.0 - 115Kb/sec
bluetooth - 721kb/sec
irda 1.1 - 4.0Mb/sec


OK, so 10Mb/sec was a bit of an exageration . . . . .
