This is a common problem caused by installing SP2 or a Windows update on a machine that contains malware (causing many to flippantly blame Microsoft and/or SP2). It can also be caused by the DLL file is trying to access paged memory where it is not allowed access (maybe caused by malware using up all the paged memory - this can be checked by using task manager). Solution is a complete reinstall. I really do think it is paramount to backup a PC at regular intervals - I have lost count of the amount of times I have had to ram it into people`s heads the importance of backing up!

Hardware problems can also be an issue and GDI32 is a clue and it seems like graphics memory maybe an issue in which case you can try disabling graphics shadowing from the BIOS. Memory issues is a remote possibility so if you have 2 sticks of RAM you can try one at a time to eliminate the faulty RAM.

If the above doesn`t work, then you will have to get a technician to test every component of the computer to eliminate the faulty hardware.
