what software do I need to remove the mtv logo off of a taped tv program/music video which I have recorded onto dvd ?

you``ll need to rip the dvd to AVI or divx then put it through virtualdub and use the logoaway filter.

All the programs to do this are freely avavilable off the web.

Is it worth it? You`d need to do two lots of encoding, and it not going to disappear anyway-you`ll just finish up with a DVD thst looks crap with a smudged out area!!
