installed new dvd writer in pc yesterday the lgsa-4163b stuck a original dvd in to back up using dvd decrypter gets 50% through it but fails comes up with crc error tried shrink dvd get data dvd cyclic redundency error cant back it up any ideas how o t round it ?

Cyclic Redundency Check usually meansd that a file is corrupted, or a pressed DVD is damaged. Try cleaning the DVD, a fingermark can cause this.
If cleaning no good then try CD/DVD Data Recovery availabel here
It has worked great on a pressed DVD that had a CRC, although sometimes can`t do the job.
