Mobile phone subsidy code?

penzance (Competent) posted this on Sunday, 15th May 2005, 09:14

I want to unlock my phone (Motorola V600), which was bought with an Orange contract. If I call Customer services will they give me the code free or are there other ways to get the code?

you should get the pack code from the company once your contract is almost over like within the last remaining month they will release your pack code.

the only two tools you need 1. BFH 2. Duct tape.

??? the guy wanted to unlock his phone - what are you talking about?
PAC code is to migrate the mobile number to another network.

To unlock your phone, your network provider will provide you with an unlock code for a charge (usually around 15 pounds). Some will only provide this after you have been connected for at least a month.
Alternatively, some dodgy mobile phone shops can do them on the spot for around a tenner. I don`t recommend the risky options of buying this code from dodgy websites.
