Anyone else having problems with Pipex speeds?
I`ve just been automatically upgraded to 1Mg (got email this week) but it seems even slower linking to other sites. Or is this due to the maintenance they`re doing.Thanks

I`m on Pipex (2mb/s though) and am not having any problems.

I`m trying to change from 1 mb to 2 mb and waiting for pipex to get back. Was yours part of the free upgrade?

Hmm my connection seems ok. It could be your exchange. I`ve got the upgraded 1MB connection.
The free upgrade is supposed to be happening sometime "over the summer". I couldn`t wait so I paid a one off £15 fee to have it done now.
All rights reserved. All wrongs reversed.

I was having problems yesterday but seems ok now, Running off Cardiff, Llanishen exchange. I also couldn`t wait so paid the £15 (although havn`t been charged as yet ;) )

I was already on 2mb/s when pipex did the free upgrades, so i got £6 a month off my costs.

I got the auto upgrade to 1Mb, because I didn`t want to pay the £15 so waited and it was confirmed by pipex recently. However, I`ve emailed to go to 2Mb with limited usage for the same price, still haven`t heard anything.
And my pipex still running slow most of the time at 1Mb :( Maybe its my exchange then.

Question: Am I being stupid - I thought 2 Mb with 5 GB usage would be classed as upgrade vs 1 Mb unlimited usage. :/
Anyone had this problem with pipex. Anyone recommend another ISP???
