I just need someone that can tell me how the £10 top up work around for the O2 genie sim cards works. I have read that when you top up with £10 you should remember that date and then when you run out of your 300 texts, you should change the date on you rphone back to the date that you topped up and not use the phone for that day. The next day you can chnage the date settings back to nor mal on your phone and then wait till the end of the month and you should get a message from O2 about your 300 texts.
Does this actually work?
Has anyone tried it?
I am not sure about the date, should it be the date that you topped up or the date that your 300 free texts kick in as mine usually kick in the days after I have topped up as I believe it can take up to 24 hours before you get your 300 free texts.
