Page 1 of Outlook Express email URLs hanging PC...

Hi, since yesterday any time I try and click on either a URL in an email or any part of an http advert email my Outlook Express hangs and IE does not open...I have to bomb out of Outlook, repoen it and cut and paste the URL into IE...

Does anyone know what this might be?

When you click on the URL do you already have IE open?

After clicking open task manager and look at the processes. How many instances of iexplore.exe do you have running?

Nice one...thought IE was closed but had a rogue process still running and eating up memory...seems to have done the trick.
