DVD writer that takes DVD-RAM caddies?

porno for pirates (Elite) posted this on Sunday, 13th March 2005, 15:14

I`m looking for a DVD writer that will accept caddied DVD-RAM discs. The Panasonic SW-9573-C seems to be the best product for the job, but no bugger seems to sell it in the UK. Can someone please recommend an alternative that`s actually available?

go to ebuyer and get the ebuyer silver usb2 caddie. it costs just under £19. i got one of these for my new lg dvd writer and it works perfect every time. it also comes with its own power supply and has a built in fan.

Dependant on what you are actually after, I have an LG RAM writer that`s been out of the box once?

Not sure of it`s write speeds, but it definitely takes caddied discs. :D
LG DAD-8020B
Also has a Maxell Type II RAM disc, 4.7Gig single sided with it, also still unopened.
Lemme know if ya`d like further info...

Will it accept Ver. 2.1 CPRM discs recorded on a Panasonic DRM-E65? If so, I`m interested. Please email llewxamdej[at]moc.liamtoh

Thanks :)
