Page 1 of broadband router help yet again 7 hours still no joy

gettin ratty now says its connected but no net yet puttin in the default user hing still nuthin its summin ta do with settins or ip addresess or firewall or am just usless me gettin in a mega creamy help >:( plzzzzzzzz)

Might help to turn off any software firewall (Zonealarm, Sygate first).

Then ping the box IP addy, if it replies then type it in to IE\Firefox, a box should come up requesting admin name & password.

Are you getting that far?

mes no got fire fox or nuttin in the uther pc brand new at crimbo laptop for ma 13y old laddie a put it on net only hings in it avg and micro soft anti spy ware thing me now at 12 hours and gonna jump on router someone told me it was a easy set up no friggin chance me in majour poop mood now getin ready to bounce it aff the wall >:(

Hold fire, give yourself a day to calm down & come at it fresh, when I can get to my PC at home, I will see if I can make things easier with a few screen grabs & post them here.
