no & no.

well, strictly speaking it`s not illedgal unless you`re dowloading copyrighted material, but then why pay £29.99p if you acn`t get the "stuff" you want. you`re better of with limewire, but tbh the whole system is tainted with fakes/viri/spyware/etc etc, pm me & i`ll put you on the right track ;)

for instance, there`s a site that tries to rip people of, using the popularaty of suprnova.org, the rip-off version is called suprnova.com and is not affiliated to suprnova.org in any way whatsoever, the .com has banners posted all over the internet (and on it`s own site) saying 100% legal and tries to get you to subscribe and hand over £££ yet at the botton of the screen in small writing it says

By using this service, you agree to the following conditions: You may not use this service to obtain or distribute software or any other copyrighted material that you do not have the right to. Any violators must leave this site immediately. This site is meant for educational purposes only.

so clearly not legal after all, as the very vast majoraty of peeps signing up want movies/mp3`s etc, and by saying 100% legal all over the place they target this audience and try & make them believe they won`t get prosecuted if they download the latest movies etc >:( they of course will wash there hands of anyone who gets in trouble by showing the "small print"

Heavens no don`t pay for Kazaa! Even after you`ve paid for it it`s stuffed with Spyware!

If you really, really want p2p then BitTorrent is the way to go. Torrent files are verified so you avoid all the viruses, trojans, autodialers etc that p2p is stuffed full of nowadays. Personally though I would recommend a Usenet subs. It`s fast, reliable and anonymous. ;)
