Does anyone here use the very useful BB Code extension? Just thought I`d mention it because I use it a lot here at the Reviewer site. It provides a lot of the code that Rob includes on the site for IE users such as bold, italics etc as a context menu (right-click menu) when composing msgs.

Get the extension from Jed`s website here.
Take a look at this site for an overview of it.

I`ve been in touch with the author, Jed, and he`s kindly agreed to tailor one for us Reviewer/Firefox users. :D I`m going to ask him to put in smiley code as well as tweak some of his existing code to fit Reviewer.

Does anyone else have any useful suggestions for anything in addition to smilies? I don`t want to overwhelm him with stuff to add, so only really useful suggestions please! :D

ta,

Anil

Excellent spot, Anil!

I installed it and have just discovered the options menu to turn on a HTML menu too, so that`ll save me a little time on HTML-enabled boards.

I already have "WebMail Compose" and "QuickNote" running, so will have to drop him a thankyou email. :D

Thanks! :D

And like with a lot of extensions, it`ll be moved over to 1.0. :D

By 1.0 do you mean the version they were recommending after the latest security thing? If so, it does work. Did you have trouble getting it installed, you have to add the site to a trusted list before you can install from it. Then it didn`t appear until after I restarted the computer :)

mr 10%, it does work with 1.0, I am using 1.0.

random username, I didn`t have to reboot, but closing all instances of Firefox and starting it again worked (not a problem with SessionSaver)

FireSomething is fun - I am currently using Mozilla Powerstar! :D

I use sessionsaver too, it`s fab. With some brilliant extensions for Firefox, I can`t see why people insist on sticking with IE. I`ll try FireSomething out, sounds fun. :-)

I`ve just noticed that the very handy Schedule and Notify features on the Bookmarks are gone in 1.0... grr - is there an extension that will add them back?

Thanks.
