Page 1 of Nero start smart 6.3.05 & Pioneer 108

I have just bought a Pioneer 108.
I am trying to use it with Ner0 6.3.05.
When it asks to insert media - I get the following message" This disc is not writable.
Please insert a writable disk".Its not the media, as I have 3 different sorts of "Ritek" media , which worked fine on my old Pioneer 105.
Is it the Nero software or is it the Pioneer 108?
p.s.If I use a used DVD-RW, it comes up with "The writable disc you inserted is not empty.Nero can erase the disc for you at this stage but please be aware that you might lose important data if yoy choose to proceed in this way. should Nero blank the disc for you? YES/ NO"
I have tried to erase the discs (4 different DVD-RWs) about 10 times`but no joy.

Just had a quick look at nero`s site and it isn`t in the supported writer list, but states it might work with some unsupported drives.

just got the latest release of record now from sonic works like a dream with the pioneer 108 though, a recognised the drive no problems, a couple of clicks and your away.

if you upgrade you nero to version 6.3.1.20

this shoud work as it got mine working also you can get a firmware update for it the new version is 1.06

I have upgraded Nero to 6.3.1.20 and now it works perfectly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I upgraded it free from the Nero site.
