Page 1 of PC MONITORS AND RADIATION!

hi,
could anybody give me any info on pc monitors and how much radiation they give off, as im about to purchase a pc for my children and it concerns me whether or not they give off a lot of radiation.
also ive heard that tft monitors dont hardly give any radiation off at all.

True or not? But my first thought were that a Monitor is the same as a TV, so they are probably about as dangerous as each other. Ie not at all.
