sony dcr trv33+ vcd playback problems, need help!!

Hi i have a sony dcr trv33 digi camcorder, i have used the usb connection, to make a vcd with the software that came with the cam (imagemixer), using the easy video option, it has recorded to a cd-r fine, but on playback using windows media player, there is no sound at all.......please help, new to all this, thanks in advance!!
