I have to agree, Epson Stylus Photo 900 is the way to go. Just bought one and the prints are excellent.

thanks for the info, managed to get one on Sunday. If anyone else wants one they had better move quick, as selling like the proverbial hotcakes. NB: Dixons & Currys don`t seem to have these instore (are on Dixons website).
