Page 1 of downloading stuff from a cd on my computer to t68i using usb data cable?help

can anyone help me out there i got a cd full of picss,logos,ringtones etc etc for my t68i i then purchased a usb cable so i can download the stuff to my phone when i try i can get my t68i to work with my pc, i thought it first it might be a bad usb cable but then found out i need to syncronize my pc with my phone.

Well i have this software on cd with my phone but i cant get it to download it says microsoft but be running prior to be install the download i did ask a guy who helped me by email but had not replied since as i am still stuck he said i needed to set up an account with microsoft explorer well i then tried to do this but it asks for stmp,pop and that other stuff and i dont have a clue so again i cannot sign up.

i am on windows xp and use aol if that helps me in getting any answers.

i was also told by the guy to sign up to orange for emails etc and to sign up to aol mobile which i have done but im rather puzzled as to what i do getting this cable i have to work and getting this info to my phone.

i thought i was as simple as plugging in the usb and away i went but i think not it would be great if someone out there gave me step by step instructions as to what i do here would be great.

I`ve got a T68i myself - I haven`t researched this fully but I believe transferring via a cable is fairly limited. It seems mainly designed to synch your contacts.
On the other hand, if you have a PC with an infra-red port (or presumably Bluetooth), you can just send the file straight to the `phone with no other software required. I do this all the time from my laptop at work. USB infra-red port?
You might want to check out www.esato.com as well - I think there`s a 3rd party utility somewhere that lets you copy ringtones and logos via cable. Their help forum is quite good as well.
