reduceing sizes of pictures

hello i was just wondering if anyone can help. i recently had some photo`s done with a digital camera which i wanted to use to show items i wish to sell on an online auction but every time i try it tells me my pictures are to big and need to be reduced but i dont know how to do this help anyone 8)

You need to use your photo editing program. Open the picture and go "edit" & then "re-size". You can then reduce the size of a picture usually as a %)

If you dont have any software ( you should have some that came with the camera)ACDsee is a good easy program for going this.

All you need to do is resize the image as indicated above. You may find that ebay has a set limit for the size of the picture. Generally speaking, the smaller the physical size of the picture (pixels across) the smaller the file size - and therefore download speed is quicker.
