Page 1 of Comp keeps freezing still!

Keeps just freezing up on me, last week i was back on dial up after my cable modem broke and it didn`t seem to crash as much, but now i`m back on broadband it crashes alot more frequently. Can anyone help Urban.......

i`d run a spywear softwear, such as adaware 6, to see if you anything nasty, then clear out folders, defrag and general matinence. is your virus softwear up to date?

few things to check....

1. graphics card and memory are FIRMLY in place. If you`ve been tinkering inside you could have knocked them slightly.

2. Power supply - what wattage is it, and what are you running on it. To be safe have no less than a 350.

3. Which OS? if its a win9x and you`re using over 512mb RAM then you`ll need to adjust your system.ini file.

4. Do you keep a mobile phone near your computer? Sounds strange but one computer at work kept crashing, but only when the person had their phone near the pc.

i do have my mobile near the comp actualy, but it also crashes when the phone`s nowhere enar it, the other things i`ve checked, and i have that `Spybot- search and destroy` thingy too. Any other ideas peeps?
