anyone know where i can get hold of some maps for the tomtom navigation software. a friend has got hold of the main programme bit of software, and several maps of europe, i think he bought it in europe, so he needs the one of the UK. are there any free sites that i can download it from, i beleive its around 300mb.

I take it you are talking about maps for a Palm OS or PocketPC PDA.
I don`t think you can get them free apart from maybe some samples. I thinks the software is free then you can buy maps that you want. In any case take a look at the TomTom web site. Ypu will find more info there.
