Aldi are doing a card :

PC TV Tuner Card £29.99
Upgrade your computer with this card and access TV, FM radio and teletext to your monitor. The software also enables the digital recording of television programmes onto your hard drive. The unit contains the state-of-the art Philips 7134 chip set giving ultimate reliability.

Is this any good and if I do buy it how do I install it into my computer would I be able to do it as I am not really great with computers just above average knowledge?

Cheers.

Hi

I have a TV Tuner card (looks similar to this one) that I got from Maplin

It`s not bad - but you need very good reception (preferably from a rooftop/loft aerial)

It simply slots into a free PCI slot (if you can see your motherboard this will be a white`ish slot at the back of the PC - check your motherboard/computer manual if unsure)

Once fitted, you simply install the drivers that come with it

The software makes it act just like a TV, and it should scan automatically for available channels, which you will be able to flick between.

Hope that helps
Miles
