Kinda makes you nostalgic for Madonna's Die Another Day...

when I heard it on the radio this morning I was thinking it was an even more boring version of the Adele one from a few years ago :(

Shame as I really like a few of Bilie Eilish's singles, but when I listened to the rest of the album on spotify I found it all "meh", but I guess I'm not an angst riddled teenager any more, so what would I know ;)

It's not bad, but's a Billie song in name only. It's as generically Bond as it gets, and it could very well be sung by absolutely any hot-stuff singer of the moment.

You don't think he can sing??? Her voice not being to your taste I could get, but if you think she can't sing I'm not sure what you are hearing!

Just listened to it back at higher volume with headphones, and retract some of my former statement. It's still generic Bond, but her vocals elevate it way above what it could have been with a lesser artist. It's being touted as a possible Oscar-winner for next year, but given the timing, I think it'll be long forgotten by then.

Well I guess it's all subjective. I'd rather stick a screwdriver through my eardrums than listen to her weak, asthmatic voice. It doesn't help that the melody itself is pretty basic. I doubt Hans Zimmer will have much difficulty integrating this into his score amidst the BWAAAMMMMs.

Hoping for something a bit more exciting when they reboot the franchise again in a few years.

Truly awful.

Like those navel-gazing versions of good songs that media types are wont to use.

If you can't find anyone to orchestrate a decent theme, recycle the old ones.

Finally listened to it from the BBC website.

Not bad, not really my cup of tea, but I felt it could have gone up a notch with the bombast earlier to be more effective and memorable.  All very earnest though...

Another 'dying and crying' song, it seems to be the rage with many music artists now. Can't stand them.

Would rather have had something more like a cheery Bond tune, like Live and let die by Paul McCartney, with that bit of upbeat in the middle, so we don't get depressed.

Properly grown on me now, to the point where during the Brits last night I was begging the moronic audience to shut the hell up so we could hear the song. Zimmer was up on stage, for god's sake.
