Dan Avidan is my hero. Struggled for years, then got a foothold by joining the Game Grumps with Arin Hanson. Thanks to this was able to develop Ninja Sex Party with Ninja Brian (Wecht) and TWRP, which dealt mainly with Comedic musical adventures, Dinosaur Laser Fight is a personal favourite. But every now and again he'd release a 'straight' track, usually covers, which led to a few cover-only albums.
But now he's branching out again with Shadow Academy, their first album released yesterday, and it's amazing. Real talent shines through eventually

Louis Dunford.
His track The Angel from his EP Popham
Just bought the EP £3.99 but the track can be had for 0.99P.
I should point out that in these days of streaming I never buy music but this was a must have.
So evocative of the area he sings about, North London, and going mental as the Arsenal diaspora are adopting it.
Think Billy Bragg but with a better voice and more musical

not listened to them in years, I remember seeing them once or twice at Uni, but for some reason had this song in my head :
which then reminded me of this classic tv moment (skip towards end of the song if it's not your bag)
I remember that being talked about at school the following day :)

I honestly dont know what's going on with me lately but been picking up more vinyl since I got the record player which has radio, blu tooth tape and CD player and last 2 vinyl I picked up were a Miles Davis LP and Charlie Parker LP and I picked up a Mozart CD that I have played constantly over the last 4 or 5 days in background while I play Civ and I have no clue when my taste changed so drastically

"Good interview with Steve Wilson on the new PT album out next week and two lyric videos..."Cheers, hadn't seen that one.
I'm not sure I buy all of the Colin Edwin story but it's the first time I've read an answer as to why he's missing from, erm, Porcupine Three..
Looking forward to it lots - but would be surprised if you liked it too much, it's quite heavy by the sounds of it.
There's a review here from a guy I listen to lots on their podcast. Interestingly, he raves a bit about the last song from the bonus track - Love In The Past Tense. Look forward to hearing this...

Don't know enough about it, or bothered enough either, to understand or care about the personal dynamics at my age. Of course, I was all over that sort of stuff in my teens as it was the centre of my life...

BBC coverage of glasto is great, live streaming from various stages, choose what you want to watch.
had "Confidence Man" on earlier, had seen them on Jools Holland, kind of euro electro indie pop art/fashion students :) better than my description, great live act, with a sense of humour.
now have Sleaford Mods on West Holts Stage, you can tell it's live live live, hearing the c word mid afternoon.
I've seen them live in real life, they don't disappoint.
idles are on later, i like them, they're amazing live

It's pretty good but which format are you listening to as the CD I bought only had 7 tracks on it...so no hidden ones...
