Great new sounds for 2005

What new albums are people most looking forward to hearing next year? The first couple of months of 2005 sees releases by Mercury Rev, Doves, New Order and the debut by Bloc Party! At least those vouchers bought as Crimbo gifts at the rip-off high street stores (HMV/Virgin) will go to good use for a change! ;)

With new albums by MEW and Brendan Benson due in February, the new year can`t come soon enough for me.

Do you know how long it would have taken for just one of these protein molecules to appear entirely by chance? Roughly ten to the two hundred and forty-third power billions of years. And I find that far, far more fantastic than simply believing in God.
