I hacked the multi region on this LG 4950 model and then tried the VCD hack since then I have no TV output only audio. I`ve searched the web one LG forum states the DVD player may have reverted back to its default settings it gave a procedure to reverse the action `blind` but it doesn`t work for me.. Can anyone out there help me please ??

That sounds very unlikely. I`d take everything apart and check all the connections. Check the composite, s-video and also scart outputs - it may be that the default output has changed and you don`t have the right one hooked up.
