I have a Phillip`s 622 player and a lot of discs freeze momentarily and then skip by a few seconds is this a fault with the discs of my machine. Im still under warranty so any help would be really appreciated.

It`s probably a problem with the machine. The same thing happened with my first Panasonic DVD player so I took it back to the shop where I bought it from and they changed it for another one which works fine.

get it checked it looks like the laser is on it`s way out , and this is the time to get it changed when under warranty
