Hi

Finally sainsburys have them in stock, Ive heard there is new firmware(if thats the word?) in them is the performance as good as before, do they still play every kind of disk out there (including pirate disks), whats the code to make them multi-region, anyone know of an online review of this player?

Thanks again

I have just brought a new Classica 20 as far as I know the only change in the new software rev 1.01 is that the macrovision can no longer be disabled. The multi region hack remains unchanged.
The only problem I know of is that it will not play most enhanced audio CD`s i.e. ones which include CD-ROM data as may CD singles do.
I am is contact with Mico on this problem which they are investigating.

No the Mico does not need to be chipped. The following was posted in the `Region Hacks` area of this site:

1. Make sure there is no DVD in the player`s tray.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: 2, 9, 1, 8, Enter.
3. You should then be in the hidden menu, where you change the region on the first page, or use 13 for region free.
4. You can also disable Macrovision on the second page of the menu.

It`s identical hack to my MiCo Celo 80
