Page 1 of How excited am I!!!!!

Have just recieved the "Package" my first step into home cinema, a yamaha vs-10!!
I have seen a thread just below about the centre speaker positioning, but im also concerned about the "Front " speaker positioning too.

In an ideal world we could put the speaker on top of the tv and the fronts next to the tv but im cant, will this make a big difference?

I can put them either side of my TV on the wall, but they will be slightly more apart than the diagrams and slightly higher, and i cant really put a Black speaker on my Silver TV! (Well i could but it would lokk wierd!)
I was going to put this under the TV/DVD/Reciever and angle it up slightly.

Is this going to make huge sound differences to 5.1 and dts??
