Hello, what wire do i need from a Philips 711 to a Yamaha VS-10 for Digital sound?? Where can i get a good lead from? is it optical or something like that?

Optical digital cable : try a cheap Ross one from http://www.beyondhifi.net (under audio cables, I think) for about a fiver all in. I take it you have got an optical digital output on the `711 (I`m not familiar with the player) ?
