Grundig 6 speaker set from Index/ Acoustic Solution set from Argos - any good?
Index are doing the following for 139 quid.
GRUNDIG HOME THEATRE KIT
5 surround sound speakers. Active sub-woofer. Remote control. 15 watts RMS per channel. 6 channels of sound fed through 6 speakers including a sub-woofer for extra bass.
Does anyone have any experience of this - is it real 5.1 setup or is it some emulation stuff?
Cant find anything on the Grundig website.
Also, Argos have a Acoustic Solutions DS333 6 speaker setup for 99 quid. Is this any good?

Did a bit a searching and Spoke Acoustic Solutions direct.
Surprise, surprise they manufacture the Grundig one as Well!
The Grundig will take an already decoded 5.1 input and give the six channel output and will also take a normal stereo input and give emulated surround setup.
The Acoustic Solutions D333 is similar but can only take either a 5.1 or 2 Channel input at once. You will need to use a switcher.
Think I going to spend the little bit extra and buy the VideoLogic Digitheatre - unless someone can recommended something else with both 5.1 and true Dolby Pro in one.
