Mico Classica 20 Hidden Menu Options ?

What does the "error correction" option do ? It was set to "off" on mine (ive since set it to "frame" - figured it must do something !).
Also, on page 2 of the hidden menu options on my Mico Classica 20 it says that the firmware is a beta version ?!
Does anyone know if the firmware is flash upgradable ?

I would not play with error correction as I did with my Mico A980 and it did`nt work properly
