I have burnt a PhotoCD disc with Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum using images from my digital camera. When I attempt to play it on my LG DVD-3350E. The DVD player recognises it as an MP3 format and will not play it. Can anyone please help?

sorry mate but unless it says so in the dvd players manual that you can display photographic images from a cdr then it wont work....the reason it displays the disc as an mp3 is because of the data you recorded...as far as I know no dvd player will play your disc!!!!!

Unless you own an old Encore DV450 running on Sampo DVE631CF firmware of course !!!

If your DVD player can play SVCD or VCD you can use NERO 5.0 onwards to create a slideshow of your Photos in SVCD / VCD format.
1. Use Nero 5 2. Choose "New Video CD" 3. Drag all your JPG files over into the CD window 4. Choose `Select All` 5. Click `Properties` 6. Put a time delay in (5-10 seconds usually is OK) 7. Hit `Write`
Can now sit and watch your photos and use the chapter jump buttons to skip back and forth! I have done some in VCD format but I havent tried it for SVCD format - cannot see why it wouldnt work.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will get hold of Nero 5 and try it. I have ben told that Nero 5 is a better program than Roxio before.
