Okay guy`s also Westy or Clayts can u help?
Me dad has recently had some trouble with his Toshiba TV, not sure what the model number is but it`s a 2/3 year old 32" DD 100hz version. He had taken out a 5 year extra cover warranty (just in case) & has recently had a problem in that the TV went green & then wouldn`t display any image correctly thereafter. Powehouse came & took the TV away for about 5 weeks & returned it yesterday (NEW TUBE fitted!). Now b4 the TV went away me dad said he had the settings set @ around 1/2 way (brightness/contrast/colour) now even with the brightness @ 80% the picture is very very dark............I`m gonna take a test disc round there to have a look this weekend BUT he asked me how he could tell that they have fitted a 100hz tube? Does anyone now how can tell when I go round there??????
Just trying to get any response to this!
Can anyone help?
Havent got a clue, however, if it works then be happy, the only plus to this is that the repair SHOULD be given a new 5 year warranty but only the repair and not if anything else goes wrong outside of its original warranty
