What connection leads should buy to connect 510 tosh to Denon 2802 amp. Ixos do some 175 leads for around £41 cheapest I have found, don,t know if I should buy these are just connect with standard phono leads, any advice welcome.
Surely you just need either a digital toslink or coax cable. Try http://www.beyondhifi.net - good quality and excellent prices. Try the Hi-Fi Leads / Optical & Digital Leads / TechLink - Professional / TechLink - 680131 Heavy Duty RCA/Phono to RCA/Phono coax cable - £11 + VAT and delivery - excellent service, too.

Rich, the Tosh SD510 is a DVD-Audio/Video player, so he will need to hook up to the AVR2802 via the 5.1 route for the DVD-Audio to be decoded correctly.
http://www.beyondhifi.net is your best call for cheap cables.
Ahhhh, too new fangled for me, then. So does that mean that the 2802`s decoding is wasted?
connected all the correct leads including the six 5.1 phono leads for the dvd audio works great, just hope these disc catch on. Used a optical lead as advised fanastic. The denon and the tosh would recommend to all.
Rich : DVD-Audio is decoded in a different way to DVD-Video (higher bit rate), so the player does the decoding, hence the need to hook up the 5.1 way :-)
Tel - what`s the DVD-A quality like ? The player got a rave review in Home Entertainment. How`s plain Jane CD playback too ?
This one`s taken my fancy a little, have to say :-)
My system is a Tosh 36 inch tv with tosh 510 dvd, denon 2802 amp with
4 x kef 60s plus kef 80c centre and kef 30b sub. Tosh 510 is excellent in all departments ie: picture very good, cd no different from a hi-fi, dvd audio you need to hear it to explain the sound which is far better the normal cd.So a dvd player which can do all this ok you need the other bits, but to me its a bargain as it does all things Great!!!!!!!!!!!!
WELL DONE TOSH.
Nice one - thanks for the owner`s view !
