I have just seen a Toshiba 9000 for £200. I have seen it in other places for over £600. Does anyone know how good a dvd player this is? I know that it is quite old so I was wondering if the picture quality is as good as a new player for around the same price.

Gordon! I`ve found the spec in an old " what video" It has no scart and no RGB .It does have component video for "pin sharp pictures"in Toshiba tv`s So if you`ve got a Tosh buy it! If not , think again.(although it does have S-video) Biteman!

Gordon! I`ve just found the test report Jan 2000 What Video(I`m a sad git!!) They say It`s pricey(£800) but excellent picture and sound (and ugly remote) so it could be a bargain!! and they`ve given it their Best Buy Award! If you want a photocopy mail me at nemetiB[at]moc.loa Regards Biteman!
