Can anyone help me with the following?
At the minute my DVD player is connected to my TV by a fairly good Scart to Scart lead. My player does not output RGB, and I`m eager to squeeze the best possible pic by alternative means.
My player has a VIDEO OUT jack (composite), and an S-VIDEO jack.
1. Which is better? Are they better than Scart to Scart?
2. Which is better S-VIDEO to S-VIDEO connection or S-VIDEO to Scart?
Thanks for the help!
Dave
If my understanding is correct - they are all the same !!! But as you say your player does not support RGB so I would guess again and say the S-VIDEO to scart or S-VIDEO to S-VIDEO is better than scart to scart. Experiment (?).
I guess I`ll have to experiment. I hope beyondhifi have a good return policy! Thanks for your opinion anywayz!

RGB is far better than composite, but I think you will find it hard to tell the difference between RGB and the available s-video.
