I`m looking at both Pacifics. I am finding the 1000 is not doing RGB from the scart, can I enable this? 750 will do RGB.
Also the 1000 is pernamently telling the w/s to go w/s on a 4x3 disc, can this be cured. Again the 750 is ok.

I have now looked more at the 750 and find that this is the reverse of the 1000 as regards w/s switching. It does not send a signal.
So if using a 1000 on 4x3 have to manually switch to 4x3. If using a 750 with a w/s film have to manually set Tv to full wide, or a 4x3 squeesed picture is viewed.
I am used to digital satellite/terrestrial digital boxes doing w/s switching automatically via pin 8 of the scart. Is it the Pacifics that are different or are all DVD players different?
