Got a Sony DVP-NS400D. Should I get a Sony HTK215 set-up?

And if I do, do I need any other leads like optical leads (toslink to toslink??) and if I do wheres the best place to get them online? Do the 2 systems go together really easily what with them both being Sony?
Finally, is the HTK215 good sound quality or what? On the whole from what I`ve read on here the reports are favourable BUT theres one or two reports that bother me, like the humming from the subwoofer and the generally `tinny` sounds of Sony products.

Come on! Tell me its all good!

Cheers.

Got my HTK215 this weekend. You do need an optical toslink to toslink. I got mine from Curry`s for 12.99, although you can pay £30 for an IXOS cable!

I`ve not had any humming from my sub-woofer, and have no complaints about the sound. I`ve watched Hannibal today with DTS audio, and the shoot-out at the beginning was awesome. My room is 15 x 12 and the sound fills the room and more.

For its price I`d recommend it, although there appears to be a split decision on this forum between the Sony kit and the Yamaha VS10.

Sony are struggling to supply some of the on-line retailers like Unbeatable btw. Who will take your order, quote 10-14 days and three weeks later tell you it will probably not be in until March!!!!

Cheers for the info about online shops not having the gear in. I was just gonna buy it from Unbeatable too! I`ll give em a ring first and see what they say!
