Will it harm my sub woofer amp if it is laid on it`s side ? I have a lack of space in my stand thanks

Sub woofer amp? Is this a separate amp for the sub only? What`s the kit? In general, I can`t see it causing a problem, as long as there is adequate space for air to circulate around the amp to allow for cooling. You should see that the top of the amp has slats in it to allow air through - make sure they are unrestricted.

Sorry, I was mixing up my names, It is a sub woofer from the packard bell kit that pcworld are selling. Just wanted to make sure there would be no adverse effects if I put it on it`s side

Can`t imagine so - it will have the amps built in, but again, as long as there is room to breathe, it should be fine.
