Page 1 of TV to DVD Speaker Connection

I have just bought a Grundig 620HT and was wondering if it is possible to connect my TV (Toshiba Surround Sound) to the DVDs speakers as at the moment I have 6 speakers for DVD and 5 for the TV. I know this is physically possible but wonder if I would damage the speakers.

(Grundig is a bargain buy at £99 in Currys sale. Good sound and picture, region and Macro hack and it plays CD R R/W and MP3 files as well)

Is it not the same as the Goodmans 3500?

The Goodmans won`t play CD-Rs but will RW`s (so my mate says, he has one)

It will play CD R if burned by Exact Audio Copy
