How have you connected it to your TV or display ?
(SCART, RF, Component + separate audio, via separate surround sound amplifier or what ?)

What is the TV (or other interconnected equipment) make and model number ?

Yes, it`s connected to the tv LG and before it was working fine and also using the same lead with another dvd it`s ok the tv. I`m sure the problem is my Matsui not working properly
The sound didn`t go off completly but to get a bit of sound it has to be on max volume the tv, i think it`s sending a very weak signal to the tv.I cleaned the len and tried a different scart lead but always the same. So any ideas? please.

Many thanks.

RE: Matsui DVDR100 DVD Recorder - weak sound

I had same problem intermittently. Seemed like it was a duff recording although not conclusive. I also have an LG tv but the DVDR100 is connected via component input as it didn`t work with the scart (if DVDR was in standby I could not get a picture on the TV from TV tuner).

DVDR100 has blown up completely now - am wondering whether to try to fix PSU as suggested in various threads.
