My Mums Ipod Nano(2nd gen) started playing up the other day.When a song was selected it said "now playing" but the counter didnt move and there was no sound coming out.I tried plugging it in to the PC to try and restore the factory settings and it said that the Ipod that was connected was "corrupted"but it wouldnt let me restore and now it has frozen up completely.
Can anyone offer any advice?

Have you tried resetting it using the menu and `nipple` button? (You hold both down for 5 seconds).
I had the `corrupted` message recently on my ipod shuffle and had to download a program to resolve it. However, yours may just be a case of formatting it and then doing a restore.
Check out Apple`s forums - they`re normally quite good.
