A mate of mine has a Region 2 Pioneer 626. Are there any crack codes which would allow him to watch my Region 1 DVDs or does he need to get his player chipped?

Remote hacks for top branded players simply dont exist !!!
There are NO remote hacks for ANY Toshiba player.
There are NO remote hacks for ANY Pioneer player.
There are NO remote hacks for ANY JVC player.
There are NO remote hacks for ANY Panasonic player.
There are NO remote hacks for ANY Technics player.
There are NO remote hacks for ANY current Sanyo player.
There are NO "public domain" remote hacks for ANY Sony player .. the NEW Sony players can be hacked using a special chipped remote.
All these players have to be chipped or reprogrammed by a chipper
