Which portable DVD player???
I`m looking to buy a portable dvd player for my child to take on long trips (airplane and car). I`ve been looking at a GOODMANS xgdvd80w12m and a Wharfedale WDP-1210 and I think they both have pros and cons, but thought I`d see if anyone had any thoughts on these or any other portable players. Can they be hacked for multi-region? (we have tons of both region1 & 2). Any thoughts or recommendations appreciated.
Thanks

RE: Which portable DVD player???
Gadget Show recently did a review of a load of them (about 16 I think), and you can probably view it on their website still. Many had their pros and cons, but they particularly liked the Shinco (it came second), due to battery life, non-reflective screen and its portability. This model also supported DivX, wheras the winning model didn`t.

Currys had a Ferguson 8" model a couple of years back that had 2 three hour batteries.
Never seen that since though. :(
