Hi im looking at buying an LCD tv i have £800-£900 to spend I have not got sky i use a freeview box on my old tv i do not now a lot about the LCD tv`s (like what to look for ) I like to watch dvd`s and have a good sounding home cinema system just need a good tv now
hope someone can give me some advice

My advice is that unless your current tv is knackered,or you are due to move to Hi-Def Sky,then forget LCD for the moment. With standard def pix their quality is awful unless you are about 10 feet away at least. The sets themselves are lovely,with those slimline cabinets,but if you are in any doubt about their shortcoming with standard def tv. Try and find one to look at while some football is on If you aren`t put off then go for it. But LCD pix are nasty and won`t be up to CRT standards until HD starts
