Page 1 of video sender ir slowing sky remote???

I read on another forum, can`t remember which, that reports the ir of video sender affects the sky remote. Of course it is happening with mine (in office). When the ir is enabled the sky control slows down and the rf link upstairs (bedroom) using the remote won`t work at all. When I unplug the ir from the video sender all is well except I can`t use the remote in the office.

Any solutions? It`s a good video sender ( a philips from ASDA) as it doesn`t send inference to the tv even though I have a wireless router enabled.
